Ella's Story
ELLA’S STORY: Ella was diagnosed with PDD NOS at 18 months. At the age of 3 she began receiving EIBI Therapy through the Thompson Center at Mizzou. Showing vast improvements in all aspects of her life Ella no longer receives therapy, is now 7 years old, she is mainstreamed in a regular classroom and tested into the Honors Readers List. Ella will attend Adventure Club this summer before going into the second grade in the fall. Although minimal assistance is still needed, Ella is becoming more and more like a “typical” kiddo on a daily basis.
