1. Greek Week at Mizzou – for the second year in a row, Ella’s Hope has been chosen as a beneficiary for Greek Week at The University of Missouri – Columbia.   Once more details are known for the fund raising events – we will post them here and on facebook.
2. Second Annual Mid-Missouri Walk for Autism presented by Ella’s Hope.   April 28th, 2012 at Cosmo Park.   After a great inaugural event, the walk is back again – and we expect an even bigger showing.  You can register NOW as an individual, Team or Sponsor, by clicking on the Menu Link above or by clicking here.

Dr. Bregman and Hope McPheeters at the MU Thompson Center for Autism. They are standing in the Family Resource Center which will be known as “Ella’s Hope Family Resource Library” at the Thompson Center over the next five years.  The naming opportunity was extended to Ella’s Hope for pledging our efforts, time and resources over the next five year for the early intervention of ASD.

Hope is presenting Dr. Bregman with a check for the first installment of $10,000 donated from Ella’s Hope, after a winning a $25K grant from the Pepsi Refresh project.

Ella’s Hope had it’s official Launch Party on March 18th at D. Rowe’s Back Room.

The party was very informal and open to whoever wanted to come.  The crowd was steady all night and everyone was able to enjoy some refreshments, appetizers, cake and some March Madness on the big screens.

We want to thank everyone for showing up and a special thanks to David and Meghan for making sure everyone was happy with food and beverage.

We waited for six months, but finally got the ruling on January 24th 2011. Much thanks to John and Debbie at Williams Keepers, LLC in Columbia for helping us get our paperwork ready and in order. These guys are amazing if you need an accountant in Columbia, MO. Highly recommended.

Interesting read however, especially if it effected your thoughts on this matter.  Even though we never fully believed this to be true, we still put our second child on a “alternate vaccine schedule” – to avoid any potential chance that it were true.   Really don’t know if it is helping or not.

We have teamed with 9 other groups, and formed the Animals and Autism Alliance. So this is the month we do it.
